How we clean

Each load follows a purpose-built formula using Seitz professional chemistry, with controlled water levels, cycle time, and temperature. Programs for spas and wellness facilities use formulas designed to remove massage oils, lotions, and body oils from sheets and treatment linens. Wash temperatures reach 160°F, with chemistry, time, and mechanical action controlled as part of the complete cleaning process. Shelton never uses chlorine bleach; oxygen-based bleach is used when appropriate to support cleaning and brightness while protecting fiber quality through repeated service.

Softness & Conditioning

Towel programs include measured conditioning within the wash cycle to improve softness and feel after drying. Conditioner levels are set around towel type and use so goods return soft and comfortable without compromising the absorbency needed in daily service.

How we finish

Towels return soft and pass through our Girbau FTQ towel folder, which automatically detects towel size and produces a precise, repeatable fold across high-volume programs. Finished towels are inspected, bundled, and organized by type, department, or storage location for straightforward restocking. Robes and other specialty items can be folded or hung according to the program.

Color Care & Cleaning

Colored event linens are cleaned with Seitz formulas at controlled low pH levels to minimize fading and color loss through repeated use. New linens can receive a color-locking cycle during their first cleaning to help stabilize dyes and keep matching inventory visually consistent for longer. Water levels, cycle time, temperature, and chemistry are tailored to protect the color, appearance, and presentation your clients expect.

Mold Removal

Mold affected event linens do not need to be replaced, even on colored items! Shelton uses specialized chemistry and controlled processing to target mold and related discoloration while protecting fabric and color. Recovering affected goods can reduce unnecessary replacement and extend the useful life of your inventory.

How we finish

Event tablecloths are professionally pressed and hung to prevent fold lines and unnecessary creasing. Napkins are pressed, laid flat, and stacked to maintain a clean, consistent presentation. Runners, skirting, chair covers, fitted pieces, and other specialty goods are folded or hung according to their construction and use. Finished items are inspected and organized by item type or production batch for straightforward staging.

What requires review

Items with wax, adhesives, paint, color transfer, existing damage, or specialty construction require review before service. Rush turnaround requests should also be confirmed in advance so cleaning, finishing, and completion timing can be planned around the event date.
